Once Upon A Time…. In a far away land called London the quest to find Prince Lorenzo began. In the heart of London 5 people went on a quest to find the new prince. Those 5 people consist of Theatre Manager – Adam Burgan, Operations Manager – Sean Welsh and panto producers- Paul Hendy, Emily Wood and Dorcas Wood of Evolution Pantomime.
Even though Snow White is 178 days away the search was on to complete the casting for this year’s spectacular pantomime. Snow White is the Octagon’s pantomime for 2013/2014 and starts its run on 12th December. 20 shortlisted ‘princes’ were auditioned and after the success of Aladdin the producers are working even harder to make this magical tale an even bigger hit.
Actors had to sing a number and do a small reading from the show. The standard was excellent and every performer brought something different to the role.
After the auditions Adam said
“It has been a terrific day of auditions and I’m thrilled with the standard. We have certainly found the perfect Prince for our beautiful Snow White. This audition completes the casting for Snow White and I am delighted that we have been able to assemble such a talented cast – this year looks set to be a fantastic pantomime.”
